Sharks is our junior swimming club for more advanced swimmers. This session is for children that can manage to swim at least 20 metres.
Splash and Swim Sharks
We found that once children have achieved the four strokes they often want to continue swimming but don’t want the pressure of galas, competitions or swimming numerous times a week.
We have created Sharks, a diverse, recreational swimming club for this reason.
We meet once a week on a Thursday at the Benfield pool between 7-8pm. The sessions are varied each week and develop their swimming, stamina, distance work and technique. We also teach aspects of diving, water polo and lifesaving. It is always a fun, lively session.

Parking
There is a car park to the side of the sports centre to be allocated for swimmers. You need to turn left at the junction before the school entrance, as if you are going to the sports centre. The car park is then on your right.
Access
There are several entrances into the sports centre but we have been asked to direct swimmers in from the side car park. A map can be provided prior to lessons once you have booked your place with us.
No food or drink may be consumed in the pool area or within the changing rooms for hygiene reasons.
