Splash and Swim - Safeguarding
We take every aspect of safety very seriously, when it comes to safeguarding children, all our teachers have had criminal record checks.
We’re fully insured, we also do everything we can to make sure everyone is safe at all times — in and out of the water. All of our teachers are qualified life-savers and they’re all trained to carry out infant resuscitation.
Keeping your children safe
We take all the safety precautions you would expect, and we also teach you, your baby, toddler or child essential tips about pool-side and swimming safety — including the safest way to get into the water. You’ll also stay with your child throughout the lesson.
The pools we use
We carry out risk assessments at each pool, to ensure that we operate to the highest health & safety standards.
We’re fully insured
We have public liability insurance
If something happens
Should an incident occur, all of our teachers are qualified life-savers and are trained to carry out infant resuscitation (a qualification which they renew every two years). All teachers also carry, first-aid kits , mobile phones, emergency action plans, customised for each pool and local emergency numbers.
Children’s health
We can provide all the information you need about swimming and vaccinations, what to do when your baby or toddler isn’t feeling well at lesson-time, what to do if your child has eczema, and how to handle those dreaded ‘incidents’ in the water, so swim nappies are a must!
